A Time to be Born

LaRod Russell Brown a.k.a. “MP Beats”, and “Stress” was born into life on July 2, 1978 in Chicago, Illinois at Columbus Hospital to Larry Brown and Rosemary West. He was their only child.

LaRod had two great loves in his life; Meredith DeKock and Janet Hill.

Dedication

LaRod dedicated his life to Christ in 2010 at Great Commission Baptist Church in Schaumburg, Illinois and later attended at Community Fellowship in West Chicago, Illinois. 

A Time to Say Farewell

On Friday, March 8, 2019, 11:05 p.m. the Lord called his son home and he proceeded to his eternal peace. 

A Time to Mourn

LaRod leaves precious and loving memories in the hearts of his beloved mother, Rosemary West of Blue Island, Illinois. His loving and devoted Grandmothers, Clementine West and Mary Brown, both of Chicago, Illinois. LaRod also leaves a host of endearing aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and half siblings. LaRod had four Special Cousin/Siblings: (in order by age), Shalawn Cinque Miller of Barcelona Spain, Eric West of Atlanta, Georgia, Francois Demone West of Plainfield, Illinois, and Tunesha Deshaun Dent of West Joliet, Illinois.

A Time to Reflect

LaRod graduated from Thornwood High School, Class of 1996, in South Holland, Illinois. LaRod later went on to further his education by attending at Columbia College, downtown Chicago, Illinois for Musical Engineering. LaRod was very passionate about making music since his early teen years, now possessing over 700 compilations in his arsenal.  LaRod’s music is available for listening on MP Beats, SoundClick, Sound Cloud sites. LaRod also has two Production companies 1) Pressure Productions and 2) MP Beats (Minor Percussions). LaRod most recently accepted employment with Motorola

Solutions in Schaumburg, Illinois. I wish I could put into words the true loss that everyone who knew him have experienced in the transition of Mr. LaRod Russell Brown. He preserved his WILL and great strength to give to others that they may always be comforted in his presence. LaRod was also therapeutic for his friends and family, something we realized, he always gave of himself. LaRod also filled his free time modeling, watching sports, hanging out socializing and, most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his younger cousins (the babies).
