Randal Quarles Obituary

Randal Quarles was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 9, 1954.  Randal was the 11th child of 15 children born to Willie and Maude Quarles.  Randal’s parents, four brothers: Gary, Walter, Willie James and Earnest; one sister, Rose Mitchell, and one nephew, Andrew Lawrence Mitchell III preceded him in eternal life.

“A Time To Be Trained”

(Proverbs 22:16)

Randal accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age.  He was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ at Christian Hope Missionary Baptist Church under the late Rev. Dr. Hezikiah Brady.  Randal later became a member of New

Progressive Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Herbert Lee.

Randal was a graduate of William H. Ryder Elementary School.  Randal attended Marshall Harlan High School and Kennedy King College.  Randal worked for Interstate Brands Corporation for many, many, many years until his disability.

“A Time To Love”

(Genesis 2:18, 221-24)

Randal and Geraldine were united in holy matrimony on November 3, 1979; the two became one.  From this union three sons were born which he loved, cherished dearly: Kelly, Rayshawn, and Jermel.

From Your Wife:

By fate we met, by chance we stayed, two hearts co-joined

in every way, one soul shared by two.

Everything I wanted I’ve found in you.

“A Time For Peace”

(II Timothy 4)

Early Tuesday morning on December 11, 2018 the Lord

whispered to Randal, “My precious, precious child I love you come home.  Job well done!”

“A Time To Say Good-Bye”

(Psalm 27:4)

Randal leaves to cherish his precious memory: his loving wife Geraldine; three sons: Kelly, Rayshawn (Joy), Jermel (Kevone); twelve grandchildren; one great grand; and one special daughter, Leslie who loved Randal.; six sisters: Eula Nesbit, Marie Beavers, Gladys Quarles, Maryella Quarles, Linda Gulley (Jeffrey) and Angela Quarles; three brothers: Frank Quarles (Lavetta), Gregory Quarles (Peggy) and Andre Quarles; one aunt Frankie Millhouse; one sister-in-law, Faye Williams (Eugene); two brothers-in-law: John Smith and Bobby Smith (Mandy); a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, great great nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.
