Aleatha Murray Obituary
Aleatha Murray was born on February 29, 1956 in Greenwood, MS. to Lydia Mille r, who preceded her in death; Aleatha later moved to Chicago, IL She was the first child born out of eight children. She accepted Christ at an early age, and was educated in the Chicago Public School System.
Aleatha loved being around family and friends, and she was a joy to be around as well. Cooking, skating, crocheting, and doing hair are a few of the things she loved to do. Later in life, Aleatha met and married, Ernest in 1993; daughter, Kenyatta Jackson was born to chis union.
Aleatha departed this earth on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Ryze Rehabilitation Center in Homewood, IL
Aleatha was blessed to have five other children: George Miller, Walter Hollandside, Aletha Munay, Kenyatta, Jackson and Thomas Murray (who preceded her in death).
Aleatha leaves her loving mem01y to Dorothy Arnold (Richard), Sherry Parker (Michael), Yvonne Miller (Fletcher), and Tommie Miller (Helen); three brothers who preceded her in death are: Charles Miller, George Miller, and Leon Miller.
Aleatha leaves a host of grandchildren, great-grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
