Alex Jackson, also known as "Johnny" or "J.T.", passed away on June 19, 2024, at the age of 69. He was born on November 2, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois, and most recently resided in Harvey, IL.
Alex had a deep love for football and enjoyed watching games with his brother. Italian cuisine was his favorite, and he had a great appreciation for Rock and Roll music. Alex proudly served his country in the armed forces and cherished spending time with his family and best friend Ronald Van. Key West, Florida, held a special place in his heart, and he often found solace in the scenic beauty of the area.
Alex loved watching shows on the Me T.V. television station and was an avid football fan. As an auto mechanic and handyman, Alex excelled in his profession. His dedication and expertise were admired by many. He was also an organ donor, a proud accomplishment that brought comfort to others in their time of need.
Alex is survived by his sisters, Francine Larkin and Toni Newson. His loss will be deeply felt by all who knew and loved him. A Catholic, Alex's spiritual beliefs provided him with guidance and solace throughout his life. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. May he rest in eternal peace.
