Audrey Mae Collins, was born to Lillie and Thomas Cage on July 25, 1934. Audrey attended Nelson Elementary School, from first to eighth grade. From there, she attended Gaudette High School from the ninth to twelfth grades. Because she wanted to help out with the other siblings, after graduation, Audrey got a job working at Bynum’s Drug Store in New Orleans, LA, where she was born and raised.
Audrey was the fourth child of 10 siblings. She was full of life, and lived life to the fullest. After leaving high school, she got married, and from that marriage, she had a son, Leonard Gooch who resides in Texas.
We will all miss her laughs, and joyful ways but we all know she is in a better place. God please bless her soul. She leaves behind: one son, Leonard Gooch; three sisters: Lillie, Evelyn and Bernadette; and brother, Winston.
