Chris Glover was born on October 8, 1940 in Brinkley, Arkansas to Mae Alice Sims and Hugh Glover. Chris passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025.
Chris joined the U.S. Army in July of 1958, and he received an Honorable Discharge on June 30, 1964. Chris earned his G.E.D. while in the Milita1y. During Chris' term in the Army he was assigned to the USAMC (Army Medical Logistics Command) in Germany.
After the Army, Chris lived his civilian life in the city of Chicago, IL where he held various jobs (i.e. Engine Maintenance for Illinois Central, Bartender, Bar & Dunge Manager, Taxi Driver).
Chris retired and changed his residence to Haven Tower (Chicago, IL), where he met a number of new acquaintances and cherished friends.
Chris is survived by two brothers: Otis Gilmore and George Gilmore; sister-in-law, Doris Glover; nephew, Reginald (Dee) Glover; four nieces: Denita Haiuog, Valmy (Thomas) Haiuog-Powell, Keisha Gilmore, and LaTonya Gilmore; and a number of Great nephews and nieces.
