Condy was born September 18, 1957 to the late Charlean Threat and Condy Johnson Sr. On Friday, May 24, 2019, Condy’s incredible journey came to an end.
Condy (affectionately known as chippy) grew up in a loving family environment in Chicago, IL. He came to know Christ as his personal savior and was baptized before transitioning to be with his God.
He was educated in the Chicago Public School elementary System. He went to the Military High School System in Wisconsin where he excelled in fencing, basketball, and photography. He then went to Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois before completing his education at Columbia College in Chicago, IL. in the field of photography.
Condy married Yvette Tara Cloud on April 30, 1994. To this union two beautiful children were born: Jaylin Michael Davis Johnson and Imzadi Charnetta Johnson.
Condy was preceded in death by his mom, Charlean Threat; and granddad Ulysses Threat. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife Yvette Johnson; his son Jaylin Johnson of Las Vegas, NV; and daughter Imzadi Johnson of Homewood, IL; his father Condy Johnson, Sr. (Josephine) of Las Vegas, NV; mother-in-law, Bernetta (Charles) of Las Vegas, NV; three sisters: Marie and Sharon of Jacksonville, FL, Joyce of Madison, WS; and one brother Kevin of Phoenix, AZ. Condy also leaves a host of cherished cousins and friends to carry his spirit.
