On January 22, 1987, Cordney Allen Pinkley was born to the union of Tunisia & Corrie Pinkley Sr. on the Westside of Chicago, however he was raised in Country Club Hills, IL where he attended elementary school, high school, and college.
Cordney was a loving son, brother, nephew, uncle, and much more. He was sweet and caring with a big heart and an even bigger smile. He had an infectious personality that drew people to him. Although Cordney was kind and would give you the shirt off his back, he was also very outspoken and would CUSS YOU OUT!
Cordney dedicated his life's work to helping others utilizing his exceptional people skills coupled with his "Spirit to Serve" attitude to excel in his career in healthcare customer service. Cordney loved his job and loved helping people navigate their healthcare needs.
Cordney's unexpected passing on November 15, 2024, has left behind an amazing legacy of accolades, accomplishments, and sweet memories for his family, friends, and colleagues. Life should be measured not in the number of years but rather in the love shared, memories made, and the joy given. Cordney touched a lot of people who will cherish many sweet memories of him.
Cordney was preceded in death by his father, Corrie Pinkley Sr., grandparents, Vivan & Allen Swygert and Ella Mae & Wiley Pinkley.
Cordney leaves to cherish his precious memories, mother, Tunisia Pinkley, brother, Corrie Pinkley Jr., Gal-mother Phyllis Williams, Stepfather Gregory Johnson, Great Aunt, Irene Daniels, nephew Camren Pinkley, niece Kayla Pinkley, four aunts, four uncles, and a host of other family and friends as well as a childhood best friend David Steward
