On November 30, 2024-, our beloved mother, Deborah Ann Campbell, age of 71, entered into eternal life and peace. Deborah was born on October 23, 1953, in Birmingham, Alabama, where she professed her faith in God at an early age.
At the age of 13, she moved to Chicago with her family and her loving soon to be
husband, our father, George Campbell. She attended Wendell Phillips High School, and it was there that she began to build a life full of love, laughter, and devotion to her family.
Our mom's career spanned many years as a currency exchange cashier, where she made lifelong connections. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was her world
She had a love for movies, shopping, and cooking; but most of all, she enjoyed spending her retirement years chatting on the phone, sharing recipes, and exchanging dinner ideas with family and friends. We all will miss the many phone conversations about, what you cooked, what she cooked, and how to cook".
Our mom's was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Frank and Jerry Hale; her siblings: Kenneth Hale, Joanne Qames Ernest, Sr.), and Bruce; brother-in-law, Marshall Campbell; and two grandsons: Taveres Hale and Javonte Hale.
Our beloved mother leaves behind: her loving husband and friend of 58 years: George Campbell; their three children: Terriyaka (Keith) Watson, Demetrius Campbell, and Michael Hale; her sister, Belinda Dianne Hale; brother, Eldred Qane) Fuller; five sisters-in-law: Laura (Nathaniel) Ladson, Wilma Bonner, Annie Pearl (Stanley) Allison, Patricia Campbell and Consuella Hale; six grandchildren: Monte Singleton, Malik Battle, Daijah Can1pbell, Dion Campbell, Gabe Campbell and Micah Hale; her three beautiful, great-granddaughters: Milynn, Ta' Liah, and Maliyah; and one handsome, great-grandson, Marley.
