Demetrius Jordan Obituary
Demetrius, affectionately known to all as Dee Dee, was born to Lover and Leona Jordan. Dee Dee accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior at an early age.
She grew up in Harvey, IL where she graduated from Thornridge High School. She earned her college degree from Robert Morris.
Dee Dee recently celebrated her 25th year anniversary with Starwood/Marriot hotels. However, her greatest accomplishment and joy were the births of her two sons Reggie and Ryan. This joy was increased with the births of her two grandchildren Ra’Nya and Tre’Von.
Dee Dee was loved by everyone she met. She welcomed everyone with opened arms, never treating anyone like a stranger. Her smile made you smile. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was certainly the life of the party. Her thoughtfulness and generosity were felt by all those she came across.
Dee Dee was preceded in death by her parents Lover and Leona, two brothers Anthony and Billy, and two sisters Ella and Beverly (Tootsie).
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her two sons Reggie (Jessica) and Ryan (Jacke), Her two grandchildren Ra’Nya and Tre’Von, two brothers Gregory (Cathy), Henry. Two sisters Lola and Helen (Sis), her honorary sister Nycole, and a host of family and friends.
