Derric Angelo Criglear, lovingly known as "Uncle D," was the cherished son of Willie and Carolyn Criglear. Born on November 1, 1962, in Harvey, IL, Derric grew up in the close-knit community of Bel-Aire, Markham, IL. He attended and proudly graduated from Bremen High School, setting the foundation for a life filled with love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys. In October of 1999, Derric Criglear accepted Christ in his life, and was baptized at Progressive Baptist Church in Chicago, IL.
Derric spent many years as a dedicated employee of the Solo Cup Company, where he was known for his hard work and strong friendships. His true passions, however, lay beyond his career. Derric had an extraordinar1y love for an, a lifelong affection for music, and a special bond with his loyal dog, Metro. A man of simple pleasures, Derric found joy in spending time wid1 his friends, working on old cars, tinkering with all things mechanical, and indulging in peaceful fishing nips.

Derric transitioned to his eternal life on March 4, 2025 at the age of 62. Preceding him in death was his beloved mother, Carolyn Criglear, his sister, Denise (Criglear) Worix, and his brother, Rodger Lang, along wid1 his grandparents, Albert Brown and Viola Washington Brown.
