When I was young, I always enjoyed hearing Sis. Diane sing “Be Grateful” in the choir. Whenever I visited her home and heard singing, I would think it was the record playing, but it was actually Sis. Diane singing, she sounded better than the record.
Sis. Diane and my mother would alternate preparing Sunday dinners and cooking together for the church’s annual summer banquets. I couldn’t wait to see what Sis. Diane had prepared, because everything she made was always filled with love and care.
She was truly a beautiful woman of God and will always hold a special place in our hearts.
