Ellis Reynolds Obituary
Ellis C. Reynolds was born June 7, 1940 in Pulaski, TN. to the lace John and Rebecca Myers. He went home to be with the Lord on November 15, 2024.
Ellis was the oldest of three siblings: sister, Peggy Brazley and brother, Zema Myers ( preceded him in death).
Ellis accepted Christ at an early age; and became a member of Mt. Moriah M.B. Church in Harvey, IL.
Ellis attended and graduated from Bridgeforth High School, in Pulaski, TN. He met and married Mattie Adams; from this union, he became the father of two sons.
Ellis was also a sergeant in the United States Army; he received an Honorable Discharge. Ellis retired from Nicor Gas in 2000 after 30 years of service. He held many positions during those years. He was known as "Doc".
Ellis leaves to cherish his memory to: his loving wife of 57years, Mattie; two devoted and caring sons: Keith (Kathy) Reynolds of Richton Park, IL, Courteney Reynolds of Alsip, IL; three grandchildren: Alexis Reynolds of South Carolina, Joshua Reynolds of Richton Park, IL, Kailyn Reynolds of
Alsip, IL; two special friends, and extended family chat Ellis thought so much of Theresa Haivey and her mother, Ms.Ora Haivey; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
