Eula L. Gaddis was born on June 2, 1938. She was born to the union of Eula and John Parham. Eula attended school in Robbins, IL Upon graduation she attended culinary arts schooling. Eula was exceptional and excelled in every avenue of her educational journey. During her culinary career, Eula was known for her intricate & meticulous cake designs. Not only did she enjoy servicing her clients, but she also had a real love and joy for baking and creating heartfelt creations for he beloved friends and family.
After Eula's culinary career, Eula began working with those whom we hold close to our hearts. Her career involved caring for those who were mentally challenged. She worked for the State of Illinois in this field for over 30 years. After Eula retired from the state, Eula decided to pursue her true passion. Those who know her, know that was real estate. Eula enjoyed her new found flexibility and enjoyed spending more time with family and friends.
Eula's sunset was unexpected, but the Lord made no mistakes and called his daughter home on January 21, 2024
Eula leaves to cherish her memories four daughters: Katheryn (Marvin) Musgraves, Charlotte (Charles) Brown, Dr. Brenda (Shannon) Durr-Cates, and Judy Durr; nine grandchildren: Kennya Durr, Kendle Jones, Maurice Brown, Dr. Kristopher (Julia) Musgraves, Charise (Derrick) Travis, Brent Herrera-Durr, Maya (James) Romine, Dr. Bre'Ond (Prapti) Durr, and Jeannda Welton; special niece, Jeanette McColler; thirteen great-grandchildren; five sisters: Shirley (Freddie) Miller, Eris Jackson, Oneice Conner, and Teresa Parham; four brothers: Roosevelt Parham, Eddie Parham, Billy Parham, and Herbert Parham; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other family members and friends.
Eula was preceded in death by both of her parents; her only son, Charles Durr, Jr.; one sister, Jenora Parham; and six brothers: Robert, James, Percy, Willie L.A., John Oliver, and Parham; and son-in-law, Charles (Charlotte) Brown.
