Gale Gordon Shirley's Obituary
Gale Shirley Obituary
Was born March 6, 1948 in Chicago, to the proud parents of Freddie Mae and Ollie Dewey Shirley. By God’s grace, he accepted Christ at an early age. He moved to Robbins, Illinois as a child. He later joined the Army and did two tours in the Vietnam War.
He had various jobs until he came to American Auto Hikers, Inc. where he worked for the last 20 years. He loved listening to music and spending time with his friends. Every once in a while, you would walk by his door and hear him singing songs that had scriptures from the bible in them. When asked when did you hear that song, he would reply, “I learned it from church when I was a little boy.
His parents and brothers Laverne, Rotell, and Arnold preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory one sister Gloria and one brother Sanford (Sue Carol) a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
