Harry Francisco, Sr. was born October 8, 1920 in Mansura, LA; the 3rd of 10 children. Born to Joseph Francisco and Catherine Moore Francisco. He moved to Chicago, IL in 1939 where he was drafted into the Army. He served 3 1/2 years (1942-1946).
He met and married Geneva Barnes on June 24, 1951 at Holy Angels Catholic Church. To this union was born 2 children: Harry Francisco, Jr. and Judy Lynette Francisco.
Harry Sr. retired from Libby McNeil and Libbys after 35 years as a meat packer. He has been a member of St. Thaddeus Catholic Church since 1957.
He leaves to mourn: his son, Harry Francisco, Jr. and daughter, Judy Lynette Francisco; Delilah Francisco (daughter-in-law), George I. Wilson (son-in-law), Alicia Pothier (granddaughter), great grandsons: Cortez and Tristan; his surviving brother, Percy Francisco; and sister, Ester Mae; his best friend, Oscar; sisters-in-law: Lola Francisco, Bernice Francisco, and Rosie Mae Duffy; brother-in-law, Red Barnes; cousins, nephews, nieces, and a host of family and friends.
