Hazel Mae Vaughn was born November 6, 1934 in Cotton Plant, Arkansas to Johnny Hayes Milton and Priscilla Blackmon Milton. She was the second oldest of 10 children.
Hazel accepted Christ at an early age and joined Morning Star Church in Arkansas. She attended Cotton Plant High School.
She moved to Chicago where she met and married Levoyde Vaughn whom preceded her in death. This union didn’t produce any children, but a wealth of nieces and nephews that she called her own.
She was employed at Williams Electronics for many years where she retired. Throughout her life Hazel was a devoted wife, sister, and friend to many. She always had a story to tell about a life experience. Hazel was very proud of her home.
On Monday, June 23, 2019 Hazel Mae Vaughn stepped from mortality into eternity. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters: Ruby Conway, Ethel Milton, and Johnnie Milton Berry; two brothers: Moses Milton and Rubin Milton.
She leaves to cherish her memories: three sisters: Gloria Milton of Glenwood, IL, Priscilla Evans (Johnnie) of Cotton Plant, AR and Viola Milton of Cotton Plant, AR. She also leaves a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, in-laws, and friends who loved her dearly
