The Lord called Isiah Moore home on Sunday, September 8, 2024 Isiah was born on July 5, 1948, to Victoria Moore and Albert Davis in Thibodaux, IA; both preceded him in death. He graduated from CM. Washington High School in 1968; he went on to join the U.S. Army in 1968 , where he received the Purple Heart for injuries, he sustained in the Vietnam War and was discharged in 1970.
Isiah met and married S. Angel Burks with daughter Gwendolyn, going on to have 3 sons. She preceded him in death. Later, he met Sharon Denise Dunn in 1988 with her 2 sons, married in August 1991 going on to have 1 son
Isiah worked for the Chicago Police Department until his retirement in 1996 and for the United States Postal Service in 1988 before his retirement in 2010.
Isiah was predeceased by his parents, Son Kendell Moore, and Brothers Clarence (Marcia), Edward (Margaret), and Sister Linda (Howard). He isSU1vived by his wife, Sharon; 5 sons, Darrick: (Tiffiny), Andrew, Donovan, Christopher, and Darius; and
2 sisters, Dorothy and Louise.12 grandchildren, Jakobe, Taylor, David Jr, Kennedie, Angelica, Jace, Samyah, Darius, Quinton, Zealyn, Harmony, Mason, and a host of nieces and nephews; and family.
