Jeffery Howard English, Sr. was born on December 19, 1959 to Mary and Tommy English in Chicago, Illinois. He went to be with the Lord on September 13, 2024 at the age of 64.
Jeffery gave his life to Christ at an early age. Jeffery became a member of All Nations Community Church in Homewood, IL. in 1992. He attended Chicago Vocational High School and furthered his education at Chicago State University where he met his wife, Sylvia. They married and had three children, Jeffery Jr., Jessica and Joy.
Jeffery moved to Houston learned carpentry and found his passion. He remodeled countless homes, including his own, specializing in kitchens and bathrooms. He had a gift for visualizing something in his mind and then creating it from start to finish. He was meticulous with his gift and the quality of his work spoke for itself His God given talent is found in several homes and the church he attended.
Jeffery was a very hard worker and faithfully worked at The Chicago Assembly Plant of Ford Motor Company for 34 years where he was a member of UAW Local 551.
Jeffery loved road trips and traveling with his family. He enjoyed time in the back yard grilling and chilling with his family. He was an avid sports fan when it came to football and basketball, not just the pros but, collage as well.
Jeffery is survived by his wife, Sylvia and his children, Jeffery Jr. (Nicole), Jessica (Dion) and Joy; his grandchildren: Arianna Loraine, Logan Grayson, Lia Ann, and Donovan Jeffery; as well as his brother, Nathaniel; and sister, Deborah; his nieces, nephews, coworkers, and friends mourn his passing as well. Preceding him in death are his mother, Mary; his father, Tommy; and his brother, Tommy, Jr.
