Jesse W. Jeffries, Sr. was born May 30, 1936 in Parkin, Ar. To the union of the late Robert and Alice Jeffries. He was the fifth of ten children.
Jesse was employed for 13 years as a steel worker/ machinist at Robert and Schaffers Company located in Dixmoor, Illinois.
Jesse departed this life on Saturday, November 1,0, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings; two in infancy, Jerome (Bobby), Freddie, Jerry, Roosevelt and Bobby Elgin Jeffries. He also has two children that preceded him, death, Adra and Bobby.
The memories of Jesse will be forever cherished by his loving wife, Betty of 52 years, two sons, Jesse Jr., and Ezena (Niki); three daughters, Pamela Eliis, Carmelita Williams, Delores Bell (Alvin); grandchildren; 17 great grands and 10 great grands; one brother-in-law, Gregory Donerson (Irene); four sisters-in-law, Florida, Beverly, Diane and Denise Jeffries; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
