Jimmie Bradley Obituary
Jimmie Bradley was born on November 29, 1932, in Hermanville, MS to the late Willie and Bettie Bradley. He was one of nine children total. He departed this life and entered his eternal home on January 28, 2019.
Jimmie confessed Christ at an early age at Little Zion Church of God in Christ, located in Hermanville, MS. This laid the foundation for his faith and devotion to his Lord and Savior.
Jimmie entered military service in 1953 to serve his country and ended his term of service in 1955 as a Corporal in the Army of the United States. Shortly after, Jimmie relocated to Chicago, IL, where he later went on to meet his wife Mary Helen McBride. From this union seven magnificent children were born. Jimmie worked in the trucking industry for several years as means to
provide for his family and later went on to retire. After retirement, Jimmie continued to dedicate his life to the Lord. Jimmie had an innate love of family which he showed forth in, through and all around his lovely wife, children, and other family members.
Jimmie leaves an impactful legacy that will continue to shine through his wife: Mary; his children: Alvin, Yvonne, Anthony, Elaine (Terry), James (Traci), Ilene, Tausha (Maurice); his siblings: Carrie McGee (Clarence), Dorothy Hunter, Juanita Gardner; an aunt: Ruby Lester; an uncle: Robert Smith; as well as numerous grand and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends. No matter the connection, everyone was guaranteed to have a unique bond that will forever live in our hearts.
