John Ralph Brown's Obituary
John Brown Obituary
John Ralph Brown was a Christmas Gift!!! Born on a snowy Christmas Eve in 1955 to his dear mother and father Leo Leonard and Mattie Lou Brown. Raised and nurtured in the small community of Robbins, IL he was the seventh child in his very close knit family. Always surrounded by lots of love, caring and sharing.
John, along with his siblings, literally grew up in the church, every Sunday, throughout the week and even on Saturdays to clean.
He accepted Christ at an early age and the “Golden Rule” became a way of life for him.
John attended D.D. Eisenhower H.S. and afterwards furthered his career as a carpenter apprentice and truck driver school. He was one of the best at his God given profession and very well respected in the industry. As a sideline and hobby John enjoyed home remodeling and landscaping. He had the gift of creativity and enjoyed transforming things from “shabby” to “chic”, which really showed forth in his style of dressing.
He loved beautiful things. His creativity even showed up in th kitchen. He loved to cook.
John had an innate love of family which he showed forth in, through, and all around his lovely wife and children and family members.
John strove to be the best husband, father, brother, and friend that anyone could ask for. He was a bit of a perfectionist God’s Special Christmas Gift To Us. God loved him for his honesty and purity of heart. He always did his best and God blessed him with the rest.
On an early Sunday Morning God said to him,
“You are my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased. - Matt. 12:18”
Johnny leaves his love and strength to carry on through his loving wife, Carolyn; his dear children: Shauna (Nick), John (Adriann), Brittany and Briana (Peanut); seven grandchildren: Kayla, Nick, Jr., Olivia, Lexi, Trey, Jeremiah and Kai; six loving siblings: Barbara Hunter (Joe), Joan Moore (Elder Moore), Leonard Brown (Machelle), Betty Scott (Larry), Tom Brown (Patricia), June Meadows (Everett), Frances Horton (deceased), Charles Brown (deceased); loving mother-in-law and father-in-law: Nevada Eatman and Homer (Bud) Eatman; very special extended family: Solomon Martin (Tamira), Solomon Jr., and Savion; along with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends.
