Kenneth Ford's Obituary
Kenneth Ford Obituary
Kenneth Ford was born on March 15th, 1'_)52 to Eugene and Martha Ford. He was the second oldest, and first son of this union. Kenny grew up in Dixmoor, IL. on Marshfield Street. As a kid he attended Garfield Elementary all the way to Thornton High School.
Kenneth worked his first job at a gas station, and from there Rock Island Railroad/Metra until his retirement. In his twenties, he married and had two amazing, beautiful children from that union: Tangie and Kenneth, II. Later he took his second wife and became a stepfather.
During the early 90's till this day, Kenny had stopped drinking and celebrated his sobriety of 30 plus years; and was proud of his accomplishment and so were we. Throughout those years he loved becoming, and being a Grandpa to all of his Grandchildren; he absolutely loved to spend time with them.
Kenneth also loved to go fishing as much as he could with his friends, and his fishing club. He really loved his family and friends. Kenny always was there to help you out if he could, even if you didn't ask; he was just that type of guy. He was a very well-respected man and the one thing everybody says about him is how he was such a good man and he really was.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents: Martha and Eugene; all of his siblings: Margaret, Robbie, and Michael; two grandsons: A'Dontay and TyeJuan; and two nieces: Tanya and Tiffany.
Kenneth leaves to cherish his memories: his two children, Tangie and Ken; all of his cherished grandchildren: Amarian, Kenneth, III, Kayla, Savannah, Brieanna and Autumn; his four favorite nieces: Tomeka, Tasha, Anaya, and Toya; he also leaves Audrey, Angela and Dawn; as well as a host of cousins, and good friends like his best friend, Vernon.
