Lamont Gordon's Obituary
Lamont Gordon Obituary
Lamont Gordon 'aka' "Foot", was born on June 21, 1954. He grew up in a loving home on the west side of Chicago; raised by his loving mother, Mildred Foote, and stepfather, Ernest Foote.
Lamont was baptized at a later age in Springfield, IL.; he regularly attended church services at New Faith Baptist Church International in Matteson, IL.
Lamont was so loved in his younger years, he claimed his Aunt Bernice and Uncle Jack, and his cousins to be his 'second family'.
Lamont graduated from the Job Corps; and began to learn and master home improvement techniques. Working as a skilled painter, and rehabbing homes was one of his greatest passions; before joining EC Valet Parking Attendants at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, IL.; and flourishing to many other locations.
Lamont was a hard worker; and made many strong and lasting friendships with all whom he worked with. Lamont enjoyed driving his truck, sports, Facebook, and hanging with Family and Friends. He was one of those people that would go out of his way to help others. Always showing his love and care for family, for friends, and even strangers.
Our beloved Lamont passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024 in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois.
Lamont is survived by his children: Eriela Favors 'aka' "Tink", Lamont Favors 'aka' "Boo", and Jermaine Watkins; five grandchildren: Lamont, Jr., Javon, Laryssa, Lamont, and Lamiyah; two sisters: Doris Dew and Gloria Foote; one sister-in-law, Della Dew; a large host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; which includes his very special lady friend, Ms. Brenda.
