Linda Marie Deanes was the tenth of thirteen children born to the union of Ray and Lottie Mae Johnson on January 09, 1950 in Cairo, IL.
Linda accepted Christ and joined 12thStreet Church in Cairo, IL at very young age. As an adult, Linda was a faithful member and usher at Bethlehem Temple until her death.
In June of 1974 Linda was united in holy matrimony with the love of her life Roosevelt Deanes II. From this union three children: Cicely, LaTricia and Roosevelt III were born. Linda and Roosevelt remained happy in love for 31 years until Roosevelt passed on December 17, 2005.
Linda worked at Kemper Insurance Group and Aon Corporation as an underwriter before ending her insurance career.
Linda, affectionately known as Momma, Granny, and Momma Deanes, was truly a kind hearted person who would give her last to anyone who asked. She was a foodie that could solved problems effortlessly. Linda enjoyed going to church, doing crossword puzzles and gathering with her family.
Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Roosevelt Deanes, Mother, Lottie Mae Johnson, Father, Ray Johnson, sisters Bettie Jean Johnson, Kay Francis Johnson, and brothers Ray Johnson Jr., Calvin Johnson Jerome Johnson as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Linda leaves to cherish her beloved three children: Cicely Banks (Wil) (South Holland, IL), LaTricia Deanes (Kalamazoo, MI) and Roosevelt Deanes III (Jackie) (Matteson, IL):
Nine grandchildren: Timothy Harris, Carly Henry, Ramel Walker, Tianni Harris, Brianni Deanes, Tyler Harris, Amari Deanes, Zoi Banks and Roosevelt Elijah Deanes.
Three great grandchildren: King Karter Hill, DeShawn DeAndre Hill and KeMani Kartier Hill.
Sisters: Sandra Johnson and Donzella Sims (Dale)
Brothers: Billy Johnson, Wayne Johnson, Lloyd Johnson, Glenn Johnson and Ronnie Johnson
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who love her dearly.
