Wonderful Life of Lynda S. McDuffy was born on November 28, 1964 in Indianola, Mississippi to the parents of Marnie L. McDuffy and late Eddie B. Phillips. She accepted Christ at a young age.
Lynda graduated from South Shore High School in 1987. After high school she went to Olive - Ha1vey College. She was a jack of all trades. She was hard-working, diligent, and always ready to tackle new challenges. She worked at Red Lobster, Smart from the Start and Shine Bright Childcare.
Lynda was a strong, charming, loving person. She was a nurturer; she was very keen on taking care of others and providing for their needs. She was a leader, She inspired and guided others. She enjoyed watching her shows on TV (Law and Order and First 48). Everyone enjoyed her Salmon Croquette meal and good pot of beans. Lynda didn't play about the kids; she took care of everyone's children.
On November 8, 2024, God peacefully called Lynda to her eternal home. Death saddens people but Lynda will truly be missed.
Lynda leaves behind to cherish many memories to her daughters: DaChanell and Dominique; her mother, Mamie L McDuffy; her Grandchildren: Tamera, La'Maya, Jayceon, DaShon, and Kameron; her nieces: Shanell and Shalanda
(Ian); nephews: Sidney Jr., Sedric Sr. and Deshaun; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Lynda is preceded in death by her twin sister: Brenda; Brother-in-law: Sidney (Frank); her father: Eddie B. Phillips; her son: Demarco; grandchildren: Tarell and Tianna; nephew, Shaun, and her cousin: Tony.
