Mandell Deon Taylor Jr., 27 years young of Steger, IL, passed away on 8/29/2023 after carbon monoxide poisoning.
Mandell Taylor Jr. was born on August 27, 1996, to Mandell Taylor Sr. and Keysha Bullock-Taylor in Harvey, IL. After Mandell graduated from Rich South High School in 2014, he went on to study engineering at Prairie State College. Mandell was then hired by Ford Motor Company in Chicago Heights, IL and continued his studies at American Public University.
Mandell's innate intellect propelled him toward technology as a young boy. While others aspired to become the next Bill Gates, Mandell desired to become a Steve Jobs in the technology industry. His devotion to Apple was unwavering. He enjoyed building electronic items like computers, and skateboarding. Mandell would disassemble whatever his parents gave him, telling his mother to "relax" when she questioned him. When she was stressing, his go-to phrase was "just relax". Making his mother smile was very important to him.
Mandell got his start in content creation by going under the name "Steezy Manny", and making YouTube videos. He then discovered his passion for cars and drifting. Mandell bought his home at the early age of 21, converted the garage into a workshop, spending countless hours there building 'Project Prelude'. Mandell is survived by his Father Mandell Taylor Sr. and Mother Keysha Bullock-Taylor, one sister Shaniqua Taylor, Great Grandmother Ethel Bullock, Great grandmother Betsy James, Grandmother Emma Taylor, grandparents James and Shirley Bullock, two uncles Al Taylor (Nicole) and John Taylor, one Aunt Marjorie Taylor-McCray (Tyrese) and a large list of other relatives and friends.
