Manuel C. Walker Sr: was born on October 23, 1957,-in Tunica, MS to Wilbert and Alice Mae Walker. He was the second of six children born to this union. He grew up in Chicago, IL. where he attended Grant
and Morton Elementary school, Rezin Ori High school, and Dawson Technical Institute.
Manuel was affectionately known by his family as "MC-"Chief” ( He was very outspoken and was much loved by his family and friends. Manuel worked at Aetna Bearing Company for 42 years.
- In 1992, he married Sharon D. Wilson, and they were married on October l, 2000. To this union a blended family of nine children was formed. Manuel was a faithful member of the Never Alone Group. Manuel passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 19, 2024.
Manuel leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 24 years Sharon D. Walker; his children: Nath n (Nai ah)_, LaTonya (Charles), Jermaine (Amaadi); Lareda (Demetrius), Manuel, Jr, Darryl (Jamie), James (Elizabeth), Michae J, and Helene; his sisters and brothers: Richard (Syquita),_Wilbert Prince,_Larry (Ack), Arlene (Chad), and Tenisha (Victor); 3 Aunts: In Chicago, IL, Emma Jean and Emily from Tunica MS; Two Uncles: Willie Lee·and Sammie_Lee from Chicago, IL.; 3 Brothers-in-law: Jerry-(Nina), Lawrence and Raymond
(Lashon); and.3 sisters-in-law: Deborah, Marilyn, and Sandra; 37 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives including nieces, nephews, and friends.
