Paul Durham's Obituary
Paul Durham Obituary
Paul Durham was born in Chicago, IL on January 2, 1954 to Robert and Alberta Durham. His parents, two brothers: Douglas and Naaman; and sister, LaRuth (Mada) all preceded him in death. He departed this life on Monday, June 10, 2019.
Paul had a great zest for life in his earlier years. He was always smiling regardless of problems in his life. He attended the Chicago Public Schools and Graduated from Simeon High School where he learned his trade in carpentry, which he was very good at and loved. Always using his skilled hands to build beautiful furniture and other items.
After a few years, he married and to that union, two children were born. After several years, he went through a divorce. Later on he met his life partner, Linda Collin whom he stayed with until his death. He worked at various jobs throughout the years where he used his skills. He retired from his last job at Arrow Lumber Company as a Supervisor and did other things after that to keep busy.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his lifelong partner, Linda Collin; and her three children; a son, Paul Jr.; one daughter, Channel; and one granddaughter, Ajia; three sisters: Vera L. Haygood, Mayola Nash and Claudine Durham; three brothers: Ernest Durham (Ray Lynn), Michael and Darnell Durham. A host of many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
