Rickey Campbell was born to Jet Lee and Edna Bell Campbell on October 27th, 1956, at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL. Rickey
was a long term resident of Robbins, IL. where he attended Lincoln
Memorial School and later met and married his wife Darice on June 26th, 1979.
Rickey worked at Hygrade Alloy Company for about 15 years and held several other positions in the duration of his prime. Rickey enjoyed cooking, smiling, laughing and spending time with his family and friends.
On February 26th, 2025, God whispered to Rickey "You shall suffer no more", and called him to a new home. Preceding him in death was his parents, Jet Lee and Edna Bell Campbell; sister, Joann Davis; brothers: Benny Love and Wille Campbell; sister-in-law, Laura Campbell; and brother-in-law, Bobby Talbert.
Rickey leaves to cherish his memory to his wife, Darice Campbell; son, Kevin Mabins (Yvette); daughter, Vickey Campbell; granddaughter, Trinity Campbell; two brothers: Johnny Campbell (Karen), and Bernard Campbell (Renee); sister, Diane Talbert, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Rickey lived a good, happy life and he loved his family and friends. Let us remember to 'Smile' as we reflect on his memories.
