Ruby Evans was born on October 11th, 198 in Emmett, Arkansas; the daughter of Joe and Lily King; the third child.
Ruby attended school in Emmett, Arkansas; she moved to Chicago IL in 1966. Ruby married Richard Lee Evans on June 25, 1955. Ruby accepted Christ at the tender age of thirteen.
Ruby is survived by one niece, Vanessa (Linel) McCraw; 2 nephews. Joe Nathan (Anna) King and Rev. Dr. Joe Franklin (Sundra) King, a host of cousins.
Ruby is preceded in death by both her brothers, Joseph Virgil King, and Wilburn Davis King.
