Scholarly Wallace Obituary
Scholarly Louise Wallace was born, November 18, 1944 in Chidester, Arkansas to the union of Callie and Roy Williams; she was the fifth born of 11 children. She attended Rocky Hill Church of God in Christ (COGIC) until she moved to Chicago.At that time, she became a faithful member of Faith Temple COGIC and later New Life Pentecostal COGIC where she served faithfully until her health began to decline. She served faithfully in many areas but was a great Prayer Warrior, Bible Scholar and Play Writer. She especially loved working on the beautifying committee for the church building and grounds.
Scholarly graduated from Chidester High School in May, 1962. She continued her education and graduated from Chicago State University with a B.S. in Architectural Drafting Design and a Master of Science in Architectural Computer Drafting.
Scholarly L. Wallace was united in holy Matrimony to James E. Wallace Sr., and to this union 4 children were born: Cathy, James, Jeffrey and Kelvin. She was a loving and devoted mother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Callie and Roy Williams; 2 brothers: Floyd and Elroy Williams: 2 sisters: Linda Early and Versie L. Williams: 1 daughter: Cathy Deborah Wallace; and 1 grandson: Uriah Wallace.
Sister Scholarly L. Wallace, leaves to cherish many fond memories: 3 Children: James E. Wallace II; Jeffrey (Colandra) Wallace; Kelvin Wallace; 2 daughters in love: Christine Kennamer and Shanna Wallace; 2 sisters: Emma Williams and Shirley (Leroy) Jones; 4 brothers Herbert (Patricia) Williams, Calreece (Frances)Williams, Billy Ray (Joyce) Williams and Randy Williams; 11 grandchildren: Stephanie, Jerel, Cassandra, Jade, Alexander, Jamila, Gabrielle, Jeffrey II, Coby, Zayleigh, Triton and six great grandchildren.
