Sharice LaShawn Fowler Louis was born May 20, 1971, to the union of the late Maurice and Rhonda Fowler. She was the youngest of two children born through this union. Rhonda later remarried Kenneth Mabry who was a loving stepfather that played a major role in her life.
Sharice's family relocated to Pickens MS. She quickly adapted to the lifestyle of southern living and enjoyed spending time with her friends. She graduated from William Sullivan High School in Durant, MS. where she was a Flag Girl for the band throughout her high school years.
Sharice attended Fairview Baptist Church in Mississippi. Her love for Jesus and faith in Him was apparent throughout her life. She lived what she believed.
Sharice's family relocated back to Chicago where she was hired as a Receptionist at ABJ Community Services, Inc, which was inspired by and named after her grandmother Annie Bell Jones. She reflected The Light of Jesus Christ at work and excelled greatly until she was no longer able to work She was solely missed by staff, clients, and the community. Sharice remained steadfast in The Lord.
Sharice met Ligen Lenell Louis in 1995. They were joined together in Holy Matrimony in 2002. They became the proud parents of Kierra Sharice Lashawn Louis (deceased) and Joshua Ligen Louis. Sharice was a faithful member of Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic since 2001. She was faithful to the ministry where she could be seen playing her tambourine in church.
Sharice was preceded in death by her infant daughter Kierra Louis, father Maurice Fowler, stepfather Kenneth Mabry, her mother-in-law Eloise Louis, and Father-in-law Ligen Sr.
Sharice made her transition back to Our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. She leaves to cherish her sweet spirit and loving memory, her husband Ligen, son Joshua, mother Rhonda Mabry, grandmother Mildred McNeal, brother Maurice (Danielle), sister Demetria Walker, sister-in-law, Demeta, (Roger) brother-in-law Delon, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends.
