WALTER “SONNY” EARL MILLER, was called home on Sunday, March 3, 2019.
He was born February 2, 1951 in Point Blank, Texas to the union of Ruben Sr. and Rosa Lee Miller. He moved from Texas to Robbins, IL in 1968.
Sonny began working as a cook for his Uncle Stanley’s restaurant as soon as he arrived. That developed a love for barbecuing, and you could usually find Sonny behind the barbecue grill for gatherings of family and friends. Sonny was also a skilled tradesman at household jobs.
Sonny leaves to cherish his memories, his loving siblings: John Miller of Robbins, IL; Anderson Miller of Gary, IL; and Mary Parker of Nashville, TN, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, brother Ruben Miller, Jr. and sister Mary Miller.
